Olivier Lutz, Ph.D., is a technical advisor to the firm. Dr. Lutz is a biopharmaceutical research and development scientist with extensive experience in design and development of drug formulations, scale-up engineering, characterization of drug formulations, and preclinical pharmacokinetic and toxicology studies. Dr. Lutz’s background also includes experience in cell and molecular biology (including ligand-receptor interactions, genetic engineering, immunology, microbiology, virology, and plant chemistry), as well as two years’ medical school studies.
Dr. Lutz received his education at Louis Pasteur University in Strasbourg, France, where he was awarded the degrees of Ph.D. (Biochemistry 1989), M.Sc. (Cell and Molecular Biology 1984), and B.Sc. (Biochemistry and Plant Chemistry/Physiology 1983). Prior to coming to the firm, Dr. Lutz worked as a research scientist for biotechnology companies in North America and Europe.
